[WANDERER {INSTALLATION}] COMPLETE

after 164 days, [wanderer] has fallen.

it has decayed considerably, and most of the initial painted layer has been completely eroded, and many insects have made it their home

AFTERWORD:

i'm not sure what im going to do with [wanderer] after this point, but i'm thinking of creating a base (and ensuring structural stability) and displaying the piece as it is.

i'm very happy with this project. it has stood for far longer than i expected, and it's transformations (and those around it) have been delightful to see.

[wanderer] is my first experiment with such a hands off approach to decay, and i do plan on experimenting further with natural erosion in my work.
